B.A B.Ed. (Integrated Course)
The Integrated BA B Ed course combines a Bachelor of Education (B Ed) degree with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. The course is designed to provide students with training in a chosen academic discipline, such as English, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology etc. in the field of education. Students study subjects related to literature, language, social sciences, history or courses related to Art & Humanities along with educational psychology, pedagogy, classroom management, and teaching methodologies, behavioural discipline among students and teachers during the teaching-learning experience are some of the important concepts to be learnt during the course program. Overall, the purpose of the course is to prepare students for academic and professional success in arts and education.
BA B Ed Integrated Course Eligibility Criteria
- The students must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
- A minimum of 50% is required in 10+2.
- Students from any stream can apply.
Integrated BA B Ed Course Duration:
Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Education course is for four years degree course. The curriculum includes a blend of subjects from the chosen BA discipline and education-related courses.
- Concurrently, students undergo pedagogical training as part of their B Ed component.
- The integrated programs include internships where students gain experience in classrooms under the supervision of experienced teachers.
- Students are assessed through examinations, assignments, projects, presentations, and practical teaching evaluations.
